Summer Reading Program 2026

June 14th - July 31st

Starting June 14, the Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library will offer a wide variety of exciting programs and activities for all ages! Have your library card ready to make the most of everything the Library has to offer.

We want to know how many minutes you can read this summer! Whether you take it slow and accumulate a few hours each week or blast through a reading marathon, it’s up to you. All types of reading and listening count.

Register online or at the circulation desk at the Iron River Library.
Children: Read 60 minutes for each prize. There are 7 prizes available.
Young Adults: Read 300 minutes for 1 ticket towards a gift basket of your choosing AND, if you come to the library, you can roll a dice to receive a coupon towards Angie's Bakery, Midland Cenex, Iron River C-Store, Robinson's Roadside Grill, or a treat!
Adults: Read 300 minutes for 1 ticket towards a gift basket of your choosing.
Submit your minutes online or return your reading log to a staff member at the Iron River Library.
