JobPod

The Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library has partnered with the Bay Area Workforce Development BoardBrown County LibraryNicolet Library System, and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development to assist job seekers in finding meaningful employment with its JobPod. The JobPod is a quiet, private space with free Wi-Fi where patrons can easily find and use an extensive range of job services in one place.  

The JobPod provides:

  • A comfortable, quiet space for interviews, virtual meetings, or appointments.

  • Free laptop access with webcam capabilities.

  • Guides, templates, and tools for resumes, cover letters, and job searching.

  • Personalized help with a workforce development professional from Job Center of Wisconsin via virtual appointment.

Reserve the job pod

The JobPod meeting space can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, with job-seeking patrons taking priority. The JobPod can also be used for studying, tutoring, small group meetings, remote learning, or virtual meetings with your own device or borrow a laptop from our library. The JobPod can hold up to four people and is handicap accessible.

People of all ages, including children, may use the JobPod. If children are present, they need to be supervised by one or more adult sponsors. For the purpose of the Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library, the adult age is 18.

Programs involving the sale, advertising, or promotion of commercial products or services, and programs sponsored by a business firm, regardless of purpose, are prohibited. Please see our Meeting Space Policy for complete details.

  • Lift Wisconsin – Legal Tune Up: Identify and address your civil legal problems, such as driver’s license, eviction, debt collection, criminal record, or child support  concerns.

  • Wisconsin SHRM: Receive mentorship and support from human resource professionals as you move through your job search journey.
