2025 Summer Reading Program Kicks Off June 8th

We’re gearing up for an exciting summer at the Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library! This year’s theme is Color Our World and we have an amazing lineup of fun activities and reading adventures planned!

The program kicks off the week of June 8th.

This year, all children under the age of 11 must pick up a registration log slip from the Iron River Public Library to fill out and return for their weekly prize. For every 10 minutes of reading, initial a line on the log and when a sheet is completed, bring it to the library, claim a prize, and get a new sheet. There are 8 prizes to collect, so get ready for a summer full of reading and rewards!

Adults (ages 19+) and Young Adults (11-18) can fill out a reading log online from our homepage or pick up a slip at the Iron River Library. For each reading log submitted, one (1) ticket will be applied to a prize basket of your choosing!

Young Adults will receive an extra prize! After submitting your registration log, come to the library and you can roll a dice to receive a coupon towards Angie's Bakery, Midland Cenex, Iron River C-Store, or a treat!

Let your voice be heard and help us color the library with your reading!
